  • gets people talking about mental health, sharing their experiences and removing stigma.

  • supports people experiencing mental health problems to be physically active through walking, jogging or running, whether that is to help them in starting, returning to or continuing to run.

Run/Walk and Talk One to One Counselling Sessions

Outdoor therapy has many advantages.

- getting out in the fresh air

- exercise naturally improves mood, helping the body to create more feel good hormones.

- reduced emotional distress using bilateral stimulation i.e. walking/running.

- counselling outdoors is perhaps more laid back and less intimidating – walking/jogging side by side rather than sat immediately opposite.

Ossy Joggers has partnered with Karma Minds

and is now able to offer FREE counselling support to members of Ossy Joggers.
